RSPC of Pediatric Oncology, Hematology and Immunology
The Republican Scientific and Practical Center offers specialized assistance in the field of pediatric oncology, hematology, and immunology. As a result of cooperation between the Belarusian and Austrian governments, the medical institution was opened in 1997 .
Every year, about 300 children under the age of 18, with malignant neoplasms, are observed in the hospital. The RPRC knows how to cure cancer and keep a child healthy.
Treatment in the scientific and practical center
Thanks to the introduction of high-tech diagnostic and treatment methods, the center provides assistance to children with cancer. Scientific and practical activities are conducted within the framework of which new methods of treating diseases in the field of oncology, hematology, and immunology, are being identified.
In the RSPC, children with diseases are treated:
- aplastic anemia;
- acute lymphoblastic leukemia;
- Hodgkin's lymphoma;
- congenital immunodeficiencies;
Bone marrow transplantation is also carried out on the basis of the RSRC, which is applicable in the treatment of hematological diseases such as aplastic anemia, acute leukemia, myelodysplastic syndromes, accumulation diseases, and all kinds of autoimmune diseases.
All types of treatment for oncological, immunological, and hematological diseases are available for foreign patients. Also, the Republican Scientific Practical Center focuses on the treatment of brain tumors and bone tumors, develops individual antitumor vaccines, and carries out modern diagnostics: endoscopic, molecular genetic, ultrasound, and MRI.
