Republican Scientific and Practical Center of Radiation medicine
RSPC of radiation medicine and human ecology
The Republican Scientific and Practical Center of Radiation Medicine and Human Ecology appeared in Gomel after the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. This event adversely affected the whole of Europe. As a result, the hospital of radiation medicine eventually turned into a modern scientific and practical center.
Currently, the Republican Scientific Practical Center is the main organization in the republic, where assistance to the victims of radiation and harmful environmental conditions is provided. The facility is represented by two buildings: an outpatient department and (an in patient?) hospital with 360 beds.
